great artist die poor not because they do not have the talent but we as the society do not support their music.we chose to pirate their music and illegally download.we as the youth of today should support our artists so we can boost the artist image while also boosting the economy of the country. while i was at the Yakhal'inkomo debate i was really inspired on what was said there and what Percy Mabandu wrote in his book.yes as a country we still have a long way to go but if only us as the youth invest in such music and see the deeper meaning of a song through its sound rather focussing on the lyrics.I believe each song speaks differently to someone same as the Yakhal'inkomo track does.

I believe we put so much pressure on our artist and they end up having to produce music that they did not want to produce but because of what the market want they are forced to move from the music they want produce and produce what the main market wants or what is in ont that time.


The cow is still crying,we should stand up and support such events and invest more on the future of our country. #ctjazzfest #Yakhalinkomo
